She jumped out well and held her own for around 50 metres. From there she fell back quickly and looked like the pace was too strong for her. While at the back she lost no further ground from the 800m mark and looked to come home well and reasonably strong in the last 50-100 metres. The jockey Luke Currie reported she was unsteady for most of the run, still a little inexperienced and did not really settle until the end.So at this stage a little inexperienced and requires a longer distance. Will most likely spell for around 3-4 weeks.

She jumped out well traveling the majority of the race midfield about 6 wide. Peter Mertens (the jockey) wanted to hold her back a little more but she wanted to go and was traveling very well. Down the straight she ran hard from the outside and at one stage looked like she might just take it. She slowed in the last 50 metres and the first three horses pulled away to win by about 3 lengths. Days of Thunder finished a little over a length in front of the 5th placed horse.

Days of Thunder jumped well, then settled nicely towards the back of the field. Making her move around the bend and into the straight, she was impressive as she overtook the rest of the field, but never looked like catching McFly. At about the 200m, it looked as though Clawing (eventual 3rd) might overrun her to the finish line, but Days of Thunder lifted and held her lead till the line, beating 3rd place by over a length.

Days of Thunder jumped and setted well on the rails towards the back of the field. Coming into the straight she was in a good position to come home strong. With about 150m left she was travelling reasonably well. A gap appeared and it looked as though she might come home strong with a chance for a place, however at about to 100m mark, she was badly blocked/checked, had to rear and lost all run she had finishing 9 of 10.

Days of Thunder jumped well, settled mid-field. The pace was unfortunately slow and when the speed came on at the 200m, she did not have the pace to go with the leaders, finishing 7 of 11.

Jumped well, settled midfield 2-3 wide. Pulled out wide and made an early run about 600m out before the turn, joining the leaders at top of the straight. Was outpaced for the next 100m before finishing strongly, just beaten into 4th place and only about 2 lengths behind the winner.

Jumped ok, settled midfield and was pushed around a little early. At the top of the straight, the 3 placegetters pulled away and were never challenged for a place. Days Of Thunder was challenged for 4th half way down the straight, but strengthened to hold going down 3 lengths from the winning group.

Jumped well and after about 300m she had settled into 3rd, one off the fence. She travelled well and worked into the race from the 800-600m mark. At the 400m mark she looked to have the race before her, however, she failed to go on with it and plugged away to finish 5th.

Jumped well and perhaps should have gone forward. The jockey held her up a little and she was caught a little wide around the first turn, however she managed to slot into a nice position after about the 300m mark. Once again she travelled well and enjoyed a lovely run and was in the hunt from the 800 to the 400. When the real pressure came she just sustained her typical once paced run. She didn't lose to much ground and didn't gain any either. No excuses really!

Jumped well and worked to the lead early. The pace was not overly quick and she was in a good position coming into the final turn. Was over run AGAIN and never threatened for a place!
